Cafè Espanyol · Plaça Major, 2
Where Mallorca comes alive
Nestled in the iconic Plaça Major of Pollença, Ca'n Moixet — the Mallorcan word for "little cat" — has been the beloved meeting point of the town for generations.
Originally known as Cafè Espanyol, this corner of paradise serves as the living room for Pollença itself. Here, the authentic soul of Mallorca lives in every cortado, every pamboli, and every golden evening on the terrace.

"Here is life from early to late at any time of the year — here is the authentic Mallorca."— TripAdvisor Guest Review
In the Mallorcan dialect, moixet (pronounced "moy-shet") means little cat — hence the charming black cat on our logo, resting on a yellow chair, watching over the square.
The name was given by owners who fell in love with Pollença, renaming the historic Cafè Espanyol with something that captured the spirit of the town: curious, warm, and always at home in the sun.

Whenever I'm in Pollença, I live in Plaza Mayor and Can Moixet. Here is the authentic Mallorca. The food is wonderful at fair prices, and everyone has always been super nice and attentive.
— TripAdvisor, GermanyProbably the best croquettes I had while visiting Mallorca. Great location in the square with a wonderful atmosphere. If you're looking for tapas in Pollença, this is a must!
— TripAdvisor, United KingdomThe love for a classic. It never fails — the best tapas in Mallorca, with its classic friendly service at the plaça de Pollença. Our go-to every single visit.
— TripAdvisor, BarcelonaThrough the decades, Ca'n Moixet has been the heartbeat of Pollença —
known as Cafè Espanyol long before the little cat claimed the square.
